Oracle OEM Agent Installation

Make sure DBSNMP account is open and has non-expiry password.

The default password we are setting in world tour application is “gridcontrol”

OEM Agent version should be 10.2.0.5

Software can be downloaded from oracle site or can be found at /gnu/orasw. (login to ussbdmd1.ussb.eurprd.net as oracle and cd to /gnu/orasw)

Create a directory for OEM Home

Start X-windows session

Set DISPLAY to your machine IP address

Go to the installation software location

Run ./runInstaller

Follow the steps as per below screenshots- (Also refer “II OEM Agent1” document)

Click on “Additional Management Agent”

1. Management Server hostname where management agent has to be register. - euedev12.ussb.eurprd.net

2. Management Server port. – 1159 for windows and 4889 for UNIX

Agent is Running and Ready

After this, follow the document “AZ_OEM_Database_Registration_in GridControl_v1.1” to register database in OEM Grid and enable monitoring.
